I just stumbled across a Sena Bryer tweet (Not calling it X) which raised awareness for the cultural sensitivity Square Enix (SE) demonstrated in casting Latinx, Indigenous persons and LGBTQIA+ for specific roles.

The fact that SE is being culturally sensitive to certain geographies and allowing BIPOC voices to be heard, even taking a role in the forefront of an entire expansion, is refreshing to say the least. This ethnic sensitivity should be applauded, as it is unprecedented in the history of SE, and maybe the MMORPG genre in aggregate. As Sena Bryer points out, and it provides hope that further BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ representation might be possible in upcoming expansions.

People are just tired of HC's that try to force their will on others by associating/mixing up FANTASY GAME Characters/Assets with Real life People/Communities.

Most people play Games to take a break from Real life, not to have yet another Drama going on because someone wants to feel offended.
