Why is Square Enix so lazy with making weapons lately?

It was awful and pretty cheap if you think of it, 90% of the bulk of the content was just old stuff made mandatory for a relic. They should've stuck with the alliance raid formula, it would've been more interesting to see something like idk NieR weapons or whatever they could've cooked, then maybe old alliance raids might have any semblance of life.

All Hildi relics had the same ugly VFX slapped on top of them, it was almost reminiscent of the RGB that is slapped on every weapon in Stormblood/Eureka. Somehow it's a trend to make the last stage look way worse than all else..

Well, after EW, I'm kinda boycotting anything that poaches resources/talent from this game while giving us garbage/nothing in return. EW was the expansion that made me genuinely drop the game and look elsewhere, if they keep doing that I'll likely seriously consider unsubbing. The disaster that is this graphical update and how it keeps going kame hame ha on my eyes, alot of areas look ugly, botched anti aliasing, flickering text/edges in the background....It all feels like work done by amateurs.

I refuse to support any other game they dish out, I was really excited and almost proud of FF16, being a drone and showing it to my friends...yeah. Not anymore. I stopped buying mogstation stuff as well. I'm being tethered simply by Zenos/Emet and the memories I have of this game.

Hope they get their shit together and not experiment or test the playerbase on that one thing that saved them from going bankrupt in 1.0
