A valid and Interesting point!

I can definitely understand that notion. But I think some misunderstanding is present in this.

The different fairies are more of a 'Bard Song' than a fairy. Eos is there like how your Carbuncle is there as SMN, and is summoned / dismissed as you summon these other fairies.

Honestly, I think this could work if SE wanted to make a dedicated rotation healer. Or even a 'totem master' type Healer.
The plan would kinda be at least in my understanding of how my friend had worded it was that your Summon Seraph would kinda turn into a 'Radiant Finale' of sorts.
