Game Freezing and Crashing without Error Messages

So I've been having this issue for a couple of months now, and I'm not sure what I should do since it occurs inconsistently (and only happens with ffxiv). I've noticed my game typically freezes and crashes without any error or pop up messages when I do the following: emote, job change, interact with items/npcs, teleport, or go through glamours/portraits.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game, and disabling my overlays but it seems none of it works...

Let me know if there's anymore info I should add. Any input or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, thanks for responding!

The Platform I'm on is Windows.
The issue occurs almost sporadically. Some days it's only one or two crashes, but just yesterday the game froze and crashed about 5 times whenever I interacted with items/npcs, job changed, emoted, teleporting, or the like. Sometimes if I wait long enough, the game unfreezes but my character has a dc symbol and then the game disconnects mefrom the server. I've I found it's never crashed while using job skills--that's the one thing that's been consistent.

The only additional programs I have on with ffxiv would include GeForce's overlay and sometimes Discord.
It's happened to multiple characters before, usually with the same causes as my primary character.

There weren't any notable changes around the time this issue started. I did rollback my driver by an update since the driver's update was causing issues with discord--but ffxiv was already crashing even before then...
I play the game on borderless windowed.
When the issue occurs, my PC isn't overheating. It's usually within the 50°-60°C range when this happens.

Try following:

1. download Hwinfo: https://www.hwinfo.com/download/
2. start it with "Sensors only"
3. Create a log. There are buttons in the bottom of the window.
4. play so for 30 minutes.
5. upload the log somewhere so i can look into it. You can also zip it if it gets too big.

Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). It appears that your GPU [NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER] driver may have been last updated to a version from [10/3/2023]. Please try either updating to the latest version or one that is not quite so old to see if it helps with the issue.

- Please try adjusting/lowering the resolution.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
- Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Reinstall game
