Yes im referencing how it worked in FFT

sacrificing up to 20 x 6seconds = Biggest Damage by far. maybe no auto attacks while charging and you can only move at half speed while charging, you move more than a normal walk speed and you fire early with a much weaker attack.

Just a quick thought i'd really like to see them borrow more from FFT since I felt FFT did it right for the most part.

Focus L and Lost Focus are the Eureka and Bozja equivalents of this and they are indeed very good on Bard, but they have an unsurprising downside of ensuring that prepull is often around 50 seconds because people need to build their Focus stacks up for their opener.

It's an interesting gameplay option but in practice it's tremendously unexciting to build Focus stacks while in combat.

At least one bard ability to requires "aiming" (not manually) would at least fit the class. Same with MCH. Of course, we could go back to mage-bard which wasn't all that popular.

Have you heard of walking casts-? They're a neat job action mechanic that is present in the PVP versions of BRD, and MCH. I think they would work really well for the jobs -- and the phys ranged role, and you should check them out.
