Complaining about VPR and PCT's current state when there is no actual ranked season going on is a little amusing to be honest. They're just placeholders until 7.1 hits, where it will truly matter. If anything what we do have now will probably serve as a proof of concept for them of what works and what doesn't. The other jobs already have years of practice behind them but the two new ones are completely brand new. I agreed with you on that SE is not reactive at all when it comes to fixing up things, but making a mountain out of two jobs during an expansion release where there is no ranked season going sounds somewhat over dramatic to me.

Also I've seen you in Plat/Diam many times last seasons, you're definitely not silver and should know better, but it is obvious by the tone of your reply that you're actually not interested with a serious discussion nor answering to genuine queries into clarifying some of your points...

I find it relatively balanced, but it doesn't mean everything is perfect and like everyone I'd like minor things to be adjusted, or would have liked actually LAST expansion when it still mattered... But I just think that it's workable, which is already good. Maybe my bar is set too low, but I don't think current CC balance warrants being so vehement about it like it's absolutely terrible. It's possible to reach top 10 with any job, even SAM. I've seen DNC players going over 1000 MMR, and that's definitely not a meta job.

And there is way better players than me that may disagree. I just gave my opinion.

Personally I'd like them to have a more reactive team too. I'd like to see them adjust PCT and VPR next minor patch actually so that they can try adjusting and ironing things out actually BEFORE new season hits in 7.1. If anything, the moderate CC balance issues we've had should have been tackled more regularly than what they did. And more importantly, look at the state of FLs, which granted isn't worse than usual since it's never been balanced for it, but it's clear their attempts at fixing it are half assed at best. There is a lot of simple fixes that could be done to already alleviate the most annoying issues (like AoE target cap, etc).

On VPR and PCT I cannot tell you how I find them to be. I have yet to properly play with them in pvp to form a better opinion. Do you think they are truly a lost cause right now? From what I read from people having played them, they're "underwhelming" or "mid", that's the terms i've read. Are they truly so bad that they need an adjustment NOW?

I don't particularly agree with balance being obscenely bad, but Monk vs literally any caster is still a thing in CC.

Did you play a caster and roll into Monk? Prepare to do nothing the entire game and play a 4v5 with you being out if the monk isn't drooling on their keyboard.

DRK in Frontline is unironically the best job in the game and needs an entirely different kit specifically for that mode alone. In CC it's fine, but in Frontline it warps the entire mode around itself and has rapidly drained any enjoyment out of the mode.
