Gear changes based on Grand Company, so keep that in mind! You'll find that each GC sports gear that is different in design, as well as statistics. However typically each GC has gear that balances out similarly in the end, it just takes a different route to get there. 1. Pick whichever you like best. There's no such thing as subjobs.

2. You can only do the beginner quests for all three. Once you become a recruit in one you're stuck with that one, and you can't use the seals earned at the other two.

Ill have to give that a try thanks Also why monk 15? I dont recall seeing anything really useful at that level.

AND yes going with LL's Grand company! those final tier weapons look awesome!

Pugilist to 14 because Second wind is a free good chunk of HP healed every 45 seconds, and Featherfoot is almost always a guaranteed Evade that also restores a nice amount of MP when you do evade.

For DDs, they can also use PGL's Blindside at L14 which is an auto-crit if you use your next weapon skill from behind the enemy (think Sneak Attack).
