QoL request: an opacity toggle for some CS subtitles

Hi,

I wanted to submit a request for some cutscenes subtitles, like this one :
(HW kind of spoiler)

I always had some difficulties reading those kind of subtitles but it’s worse since the graphic update.
I don’t think I’m the only one struggling with this.

Some games have an option to add an opaque background behind the subtitles.
Could we have a similar toggle in FFXIV ? It would be greatly appreciated !

Yes please. The contrast on some of that text versus the background is dreadful.

There are also a couple of places where it seems like they've forgotten to put a line break in the subtitle so it stretches from one edge of the screen to the other, and then maybe has two words that flowed over to a second line.
