FFXIV Freeze - Alt + Tab on Discord

Hello,

I am on Windows 11 and playing in borderless window mode. For the past few days I've noticed that if I alt + tab on discord directly or if I have discord in focus and select the xiv window or alt + tab to it, the game freezes for a few seconds. If I alt + tab to anything else but discord there is no issues. This only happens with FF, no other games exhibit this behavior.
There were no updates done to drivers or Windows, I did these now that I noticed the issue but no fix.

Anyone else noticed this and may know of a way to fix it ?

Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable).
- Please try adjusting/lowering the resolution.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Limit in-game FPS.
- Switch between Fullscreen and Borderless Windowed modes.
- Try removing any extra peripherals that may not be necessary until you only have a keyboard, mouse, and one monitor.
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive. (If Steam version, make sure both the game and Steam are installed on same drive)
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Verify installation files (Steam)
- Reinstall game (If steam version, try uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and Steam)

Hi Voltraftur, thank you. I've tried all of the above with no success in resolving the issue, but this is because it's Discord's issue. After trying different fixes for somewhat related issues with Discord, somehow it glitched the update and while I was on the latest version 1.0.9158 it now "updated" to an older version 1.0.9034 which it sees as the current version and no longer have the issue with this one. So I'll need to see later on if with newer versions the problem will reappear or not.
There is 1 thing I didn't try, but I doubt it would've made a difference... to turn off Intel APO for FFXIV. Will check it if I'll get the issue again when Discord will decide cu go back to the newer version.
