I understand that everyone has the freedom to express themselves, but there are certain expectations when one represents a major company. My concerns are not directed at her as an individual but rather at the behavior she has displayed in her professional capacity. It's concerning when a representative of a company insults customers. Imagine walking into your favorite store, expressing a concern, and being dismissed with accusations of racism...how would that make you feel? While some might brush it off, I find it difficult to do so.

Furthermore, this discussion emerged because previous threads on this topic were shut down, leaving the impression that either SE is trying to suppress the conversation or they’re unwilling to address the criticism. If I were to insult our customers at my workplace, I'd likely face serious consequences, and rightly so. The key issue here isn't about firing someone but about taking customer feedback seriously and addressing the problem.

If a company overlooks or remains silent about such conduct from its employees, it raises a valid question about whether I see a future with them. This isn't just about one individual...it's about how SE intends to handle this situation and whether they value their customers' concerns. They have taken action in the past, such as with the singer of older themes who was dismissed for her online associations. I hope they apply the same principles consistently. So, do you think it's reasonable for me to ignore being labeled as racist or transphobic in this context? For the record, I had no issue with Wuks VA until this recent controversy, and ironically, I wasn't even aware of her being trans.

If you aren't racist then why are you offended to this degree? Take that input however you want but I feel like her calling out some people is justified to clean up the user base.

Not bothered at all because I'm not racist and it's not directed at people who don't give a shit about her posts, voice acting or singing.

The localization part of the forums is for talking about grammar and spelling mistakes in the game. It's not the place to voice your opinion of a VC. You in your op asked if this was the correct place, they said it was. That's the lie.

I’m happy for you, but I have to express my concerns. While I understand that everyone can be entitled today, there comes a point where professionalism must take precedence. It’s troubling to see situations where disliking a voice actor like Wuk Lamat is labeled as transphobic, or not enjoying a song in a game is branded as racist. This isn’t just about calling someone a racist; it reflects a lack of professionalism.

When someone works for a major company, there’s an expectation of maintaining a high level of professionalism, which includes not insulting customers who may be unhappy with certain aspects of your work or the product. It’s perfectly fine to hold personal views, but those should be kept separate from your professional role. Claiming that comments made on a personal Twitter account are entirely private is not valid when that account is associated with your professional role.

As a customer, I don’t expect to be subjected to derogatory remarks from employees of a company I support financially. I grew up in an era of the internet where harsh language was common, but that doesn’t mean it should be tolerated from representatives of a business. If you can overlook this behavior, that’s fine, but it’s not something I find acceptable.
