Reduce Bloodbath and Second Wind cooldown for better sustainability

I'm in Dawntrail's new zones and have been doing FATEs until I noticed using Tank jobs to clear them faster than dps jobs as they can soak up damage and at the same time do a lot damage in return too.

DPS jobs can do well but they can only fight at most 3 enemies at the same time, but with a reduced cooldown Bloodbath (90s -> 60s CD or 30s duration) and Second Wind (120s - 90s), folks with main dps jobs can fare better, with or without companions, in FATEs hunting.

If tanks are overtuned, then might as well overtune dps jobs too.

    What do y'all think?

No let's actually not overtune DPS jobs because tank jobs are overtuned, especially not for a reason like overworld content.

Get yourself some Gysahl Greens, summon your chocobo, put it to Healer stance to do the heavy lifting or don't pull 8 mobs if you can't handle it.

If you didn't level your chocobo's healing skilltree, now would be a good time.

And make healers even less necessary than they already are? No thank you.

I haven't tried soloing fates in DT yet but I don't see them being any different from the previous expansions, and I soloed them on DPS back then specifically because the damage output is way higher and makes them less of a slog. Tanks have a crazy frontloaded damage but after you're done they hit like a wet noodle.

The only way to compete with tanks that can mass pull in FATEs is to use your chocobo in full healing mode. The amount of fates that can actually delete you if you do that is extremely small, and it makes tanks overperforming defensively comparatively, you just don't need all that defense. In DT second wind has been buffed as well so it's probably even more forgiving to tank on DPS. You can either go ranged for the laziest damage application (don't need to jump all around at melee range), or go for melee DPS if you want a second safeguard with bloodbath, which can keep you alive no matter what. Remember to use all your other defensives, notably arm's length, etc.

Hyper Potions are your friend. So are your mitigations, and partying up for FATEs regardless.

Healer stance Chocobo does enough to deal with fates (solo) as a DPS imo.

Remove cooldown, zero mana cost, 5000 potency.
    Watch the forums burn.

Chocobo plus hyper potions are fine. Second wines buff was also strong, really having a shorter CD on it won't make it better sustain because it depends on the job, for example it's self sustain isn't great on reaper or monk but on viper it's insanely powerful in AoE. Really it's an awkward ability that was taken from tanks and put on melees for no real good reason.

Second Wind restores massive amounts of HP especially after the buff at level 94 (or was it the 98 one?), especially if you manage to get a crit. Reducing the cool-down would just have a huge negative impact on every piece of content in the game because it’d become even easier to completely disregard the entire healing role
