Random DirectX 11 fatal error crashes

My game has been crashing reliably since DT came out. It’s often in crowded areas like cities. How do I do one of those fancy reports with all of my PC information?

When the issue happens, is the PC over heating at all?

I am playing on the Windows PC version of the game. The game has been crashing about 3-6 times a day. It usually happens when I'm in a crowded location like Solution 9 or during a hunt train.

Hello, i guess you have a ROG Strix X570-E Gaming, right? If so, install the newest BIOS:

And then uninstall Razer Synapse and all ASUS Software.

Thank you for the reply! I just uninstalled Razer Synapse. As far as ASUS software, does that include Armoury Crate, and ASUS Framework Service, and ASUS motherboard? And is AURA lighting effects part of it as well?

Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). It appears that your GPU [NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080] driver was last updated on [6/24/2024], please note that there should be a newer version available at this time.

- Please try adjusting/lowering the resolution.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive. (If Steam version, make sure both the game and Steam are installed on same drive)
- Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup. It appears that you may have the following programs running in the background [Friends - Discord, NVIDIA GeForce Overlay].

- After reviewing the system report, it appears that you also may have OneDrive running in the background. As the OneDrive attempts to sync your local files, it may actually interfere with communication. Please double check if you are running this program and try disabling OneDrive.

- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Verify installation files (Steam)
- Reinstall game (If steam version, try uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and Steam)

Thank you for the reply. Going to try this again. I tried doing all of the above outside of lowering the resolution (my PC should be able to handle the current resolution, and I don't want to lower it). I've run as administrator, I've done the clean boot, I've reinstalled the game. I've also uninstalled OneDrive. I think I uninstalled Nvidia Geforce, and disable discord overlay. 3. Create a log. There are buttons in the bottom of the window.
4. play so for 30 minutes.
5. upload the log somewhere so i can look into it. You can also zip it if it gets too big.
