I would like to make a feature request.
I’m playing on PS5 and I’m using the Option for double tap R2 or L2 to reach the secondary Hotbars a lot, instead of pressing R2 and L2 simultaneously to get a secondary Hotbar.
Since the PS5 got the force feedback feature, I'm wondering, instead of double tapping R2 or L2, wouldn't it be much easier to be able to define two pressure points for R2 and L2 and using force feedback make it so that you begin to press R2 or L2 to activate the primary Hotbar, like it normally would, but then you feel a resistance, if you stop there you stay on the primary Hotbar, but if you keep pressing down you surpass the resistance and move over to the secondary Hotbar for either R2 or L2? If you lower the resistance on the finger on R2 or L2 until you feel you have surpassed the pressure point in reverse, but do not release R2 or L2, you’d move back to the primary Hotbar of course.
Like I said, I'm currently using the double tap a lot and I feel like the PS5 Pro Controller Triggers are wearing down because of it.
I think just moving between the two defined pressure points and using force feedback would wear down the controller much less then having to double tap an analoge trigger to go to the secondary Hotbar and release and tap again to move back from secondary to primary Hotbar and release fully again and double tap again to move back to the secondary Hotbar, but that's just how I'm observing it.
If possible, you could just put the option for it where you can find the Option for the Cross-Hotbar activation, where you can choose between double tapping R2 or L2 and pressing R2 and L2 simultaneously to move to another secondary Hotbar.
I’d love to see an option like that for PS5 players.
If you would like to contact me to further elaborate something, feel free to do so.
Also, I'm not sure if this feature request regarding an input method In-Game is in the right place here, if you feel like you would move it into another Sub-Forum or migrate it into another suggestions Thread or something like the, again, feel free to do so.
