Question about adventurer's tales from the online store.

I am considering buying some of the adventurer's tales to get the class stories without playing the class. I don't want to play these classes because I don't like the mechanics involved, such as with ninja or black mage, but I would still like to experience their storylines.

My question is, how does it actually work with regard to the quests? Are they completed, meaning the quest markers will not show up on the map, and the quests will be completed on the lodestone website? Also, just to verify, if I buy them, can I actually watch all the cutscenes for the quests in my room?

The quests will be automatically completed. You can watch the cutscenes from your inn room, but it will only be the cutscenes, so you'll miss a lot of context.

You can re-play the quests through New Game Plus.

Okay, ty. If we could skip solo duties, I would level classes like the ninja whenever my FC is in the mood to suffer cos my memory is awful, and I will never remember the combos for that class.

I wonder if there are YT vids of people doing all the class quests for a class so I can still see all the text... >_>

Sidebar, but the Ninja combos aren't as complicated as they might sound. The only mudra that matters is the last one.

For example Raiton, is a 2-part combo that has to end in Chi. It doesn't matter which of the other 2 you hit first.

Huton is a 3-part combo that has to end with Ten. It doesn't matter what order you do the 2 before as long as they aren't the same.

You know you can switch jobs in Frontline. I hate PCT. Leveled it completely through Frontline and other mindless stuff like side quests. Just queue as NIN, and once in, change to the job you actually want to play. All the XP will go to NIN.

if you have already done your msq .you can just level up your class by doing frontline pvp .it gives good chunk of experience and as it is so many players nobody minds what you are doing .then you can do story class quests at your leisure when you want .

That's a fair point, but there's the stupid solo duties that I'll never be able to do.
