This idea of the origin of the name "Solution Nine" being that there were multiple "domes" and only one of them succeeded in transporting into a different dimension (the source) was my original idea of what it would be before Dawntrail came out. I thought it would've been incredible if that was what the reasoning behind the name.
Unfortunately, this was debunked. In Solution Nine there's an NPC that explains the origins of the name.

I'll fetch the exact quote once I have access to the game (I'm getting error 2002 ), but I remember it was called "Solution" because it has the solution for all of your problems, since it's somewhat of a market place/shopping mall area. And it's 9 because it's on the 9th floor of Everkeep. That's it. Solution 8 exists, it's on the floor below.

Although, lore-wise that's a painfully disappointing and, frankly catastrophically boring, explanation for the name!

Okay hear me out,because we know the 2nd umbral calamity was Lightning based, Sphenes reflection was already rejoined with the source so what we see in Heritage Found is a century or perhaps a millenia of Alexandrian advancement in it\\\\'s own pocket dimension fused with the land of y\\\\'yasulani.

Dont forget, thats not a Zone, its actually just the top of the everkeep that stayed back in their shard, or rahter in whats left of it. All we know is they made their bubble and were save, either their world is there but close to a WoD state or its gone and their bubble is all thats left. The fact the time inside it being still faster like their own shard indicates it wasnt fused imo...

Frankly, they haven't really set up a fun 7.1-7.3 patch cycle. We're clearly missing a villain and the loose ends Dawntrail has presented (other than the key) are not interesting either.

Gulool Ja probably needs a patch to have a mini adventure with the WOL to gain the confidence to lead Alexandria. Wuk Lamat said something about easing tensions between the two nations. Maybe Koana will want to use Alexandria's tech in Tural.

But these are not really interesting. Short of them diving into research about the key the msq is going to flounder.

Gone are the days of we have to save Estinien from Nidhogg, or the Warriors of Darkness are coming for us, or Elidibus is going to cause a rejoining now that Emet is dead, or an Ascian is parading around in Zenos' body...all of those plots were way more interesting.

We need to accept the fact that SE thinks we're a captive (paying) audience and will give use watered down story or we all need to speak up till something changes.
