As long as ARR alliance raid is required by the MSQ and the rest are optional, alliance raid roul is just circus tower roul.
There's just waaaaaaay too many players with CT unlocked than the other ones. Even then I think you'll likely see CT more cause a few relics are tied to it as well. While the rest you gotta only queue for em for glam or completion. They don't give more rewards to justify running.

The roulette begins searching from the lowest level raids instead of the inverse, which is faulty when fewer people are at higher levels and have those raids unlocked. Then it'll find a random number of people for a higher level raid before giving up and defaulting to CT. It doesn't even try to differentiate.

Alliance Raid Roulette could do for a reward increase... if anything id love it if it gave decent size chunk of exp like Frontlines Roulette...

Pretty sure I get nearly the same XP for AR Roulette as I do from Frontlines. More now for level 90 raids + Roulette if that pops.

Frontlines is just more engaging and feels overall a bit shorter.

Every roulette needs a severe decrease in ilvl if nothing else. It's so unbelievably boring.

And give me a min ilvl roulette while you're at it.

Ive started playing FFXIV since HW. I always felt Alliance was a slog, took too long. Recently I have seen an effort from the team to make them shorter, 30m maximum.

All comes to, make it that Alliance roulette is not always level 50 and still be around under 30m in a normal everyday group.

Maybe everyweek change the level of the Alliance raid. So 1 week level 50 and so forth, or just make algorythm better. Open to ideas.

When you queue for a roulette, you accept a certain degree of randomness. This randomness is compensated with the roulette bonus.
If you want a specific raid, you can queue that raid, losing the bonus and with a longer queue time.
If SE implements an ally cycle, it means we have to wait even 5 weeks for a decent queue time. You see this happening when there is the moogle-farmingtomes-event.


btw, last week I had aglaia-aglaia-aglaia, because the players were using that for equip and levelling purpose.

Yep. The adjustment they did for armor didn't help the CT problem at all. Totally pointless if people just use alts with nothing unlocked, or otherwise just don't.

But that's OK because I just leave immediately. If the team isn't going to respect our play time, I won't reward them with engagement over some gil.

You can also just queue up with a lower level job, which basically guarantees CT (for those this is applicable to).
