There are a lot of reasons it's a bad thing. The health of a persistent online game is found in the ability for players to move through content, which requires a healthy population of players willing to stick around and act as the vehicle by which players can "hitch a ride" through content with a shallow pool of peers at that level.

It is literally the reason that the daily roulette exists with multiple options. If players could blow through content in a week, then hang it up until the next content patch, this dries up. The mechanism doesn't exist for you alone, it exists to provide you as a tool for other players.
