FFXIV - DDOS'ed again?

A group of friends and I keep getting kicked from the server, but I'm not seeing any official announcements or anyone else complaining...

Is anyone else having issues with the servers right now?

Never forget that the original impetus for moving to NTT is because it is "more stable". How many more lies can CBU3 tell before SE goes bankrupt I wonder?

There aren't many announcements about it because it happens so frequently. It's been happening rather constantly since even before the expansion release.

But you can tell it's a DDoS because you get the error that happens when they are protecting the server and there is no other evidence of connection issues on your network. And when you login again there's often a queue and "limited information displayed" which you see as lots of ???. Often when this happens you can ask your FC, linkshells, NN or discord servers and find out other people had it too.

It also isn't necessarily always a DDoS on SE directly, but on one of the nearby nodes, so technically SE doesn't have to say they had a DDoS necessarily.

If I do get in, I get kicked shortly after.

Was going fates, then ex2, no issues during any of it.

I wasn't able to do much of anything last night after around 8:00 pm CST. The FC buffs weren't even showing on the console and everyone was teleporting around the place, so I just kind of logged out for the day.

Most of Sunday I was unable to do anything from the lag and disconnects. I finally just gave up and logged out for the night early.
