BRD needs a consolation song

Being punished with a worse song is still a fail state

If they made this song say “x echo” where it replays the song for half the effect, half the buff and half the proc chance you are still being heavily punished for dying but it doesn’t completely ruin your song rotation for like half the rest of the fight

Fail states are good, fail states that functionally can’t be fully corrected even with time are bad, even BLM you can fix it’s fail state by simply returning to ice and starting again

Yeah, exactly. I'm not looking for it to not punish you for dying; I'm looking for slightly less of a dunce cap each time you die where you're stuck being a silent bard. A song of shame that's simply worse than your normal song would give more recoverability while still giving plenty of incentive to not die.

Bard is currently the class with the biggest case of "don't die lol" and would benefit from a consolation prize. Dancer can get its dances back up quickly; Bard is stuck unable to build gauge for up to 45 seconds if you die. It hurts.

Concept: the song you're singing remains your song when you die. Dying gives you The Show Must Go On debuff that halves song efficiency for the next 30 seconds.
