Better idea than this.
If no-one's been active in the Free Company for 80 days (The amount of time it takes for a Free Company to lose its house and the ability to reclaim its items), it gets added to the Orphan List.
Someone can freely join anything on this list of dead FCs and become its leader, then either decide to disband the FC or make it their own to use with friends.

So RMT has free access to ready made FCs and the contents of their company chests?
