Current Seasonal Event BUG?

I've been trying hardly to get some of the Seasonal Event gear (Yukata's and their pants) but i can, due to probably low server population or low interest on such activities. No one or barely 5-6 people join in (This happens in Ul'dah because all other places are empty) and we still lose badly. Recieving just 1 point per loss and then wait like 5 minutes makes it almost impossible to make the 50+30+50+30+10 points to get all the gear including the foot. I've spent almost 2 hours there today waiting for people to show up and well... Ive gained 10 Bomb ash from losses, not even a single win. I wonder how will i ever get this gear that i kinda wanted and be ready before the 1.23a at lvl 30 to get goobbue since this isnt getting me nowhere :/ Just makes me feel sad that FFXIV has a really low comunity on the most of the servers and some events cant be done or are almost impossible due to that :/ .
I wished to ask if there is any implementation on a fix to this problem that whould make fewer bombs spawn depending on how many ppl are participating, because like this i rather just skip it but i rly wanted it.
Its almost impossible how fast they spawn and even with a macro i can only do 1 dance per 3-5 seconds, which makes them pass and explode them balloons.
Thanks in advance for reading this and i hope that ppl that are trying to do it later than the release can still do it and get some cool looking equipment :/ (Sorry for my english but i aint english).

It's not that the population is low, it's just that everyone already did it on the first day and got their stuff already.

Yes, it would be nice if it scaled to how many people are there.

Try again maybe on the weekend. It's summer time and several people might have be out of town, on vacation, only play on weekends etc. You might be able to find a mass group outside then...

Or if you have a ls, ask if they mind helping.

But yeah, it is lame that 2 days after event starts you are having trouble clearing due to lack of participation.

I can barely see people in game, other than in Ul'dah... i been having to lvl up alone because cant really find partys, and the ppl msotly asking for lvl up partys are JP and not always want to invite English ppl, not sure why but yeah, had the same trouble at times in FFXI... But i guess it might be like this till 2.0 probably. Some ppl might have completed all they wanted to before 2.0 and decided to take a break probably... I just hope i can do the event this weekend or i'll have to farm alot to buy the 170 ash i need which is going for 10k each right now..... and i barely started the game...

Hmmm... my server seems busy, but maybe I'm just more use to it. Also, you know you can only 'see' up to 40 characters on your screen at a time right?

If CNJ level 31 is your main, you should have no real troubles finding a group...everyone's always looking for a CNJ/WHM when leveling up. That being said, people don't typically start grouping up until they are rank 32ish+. So just throw up your 'seeking party' on the search, and go do some leves or something solo. I'm sure you'll find folks.

In the meantime, look into joining a social shell on your server. Might help you meet others in the same boat as you. It IS hard to be the new guy on the block, and I really do feel for the new players joining the game right now, as it is very difficult to find people at your level and stage of the game, but you can make it through .

If searching for a party doesn't work, try sitting in Uldah and working on a craft (or just afk and watch tv) sooner or later, you should see chat spam for a party around Level 34ish.
