Fishers, is the sculptor real? ;___;

I think im going crazy.
Is the sculptor even a real fish? I've been trying to get the stethacanthus for a real long time now, but ive never even seen a sculptor. To everyone who's caught it, how many tries did it take before you got it?
Im starting to think it's a myth ;;u;;

Yes.

It was the 'rare' high-value scrip fish of Stormblood, so it is notably rare. Can take a few to many windows to get, depends on how optimally you're fishing.

I've been there for countless windows - I'd guess 50+ on the low end. I have NEVER seen a sculptor bite. It's fish like this (along with Ruby Dragon and worst of all Sidereal Whale) that have made me drop big fishing for the most part.

Big fishing is pretty fun at first, but then when you hit one that's going to require months of grinding, setting alarms to wake up in the middle of the night, ridiculous intuition requirements, getting "jailed" into a zone to meet intuition requirements across multiple windows, etc.

Noone in their right mind will say that this is "fun". There are a few people who have somehow either tortured themselves long enough or got incredibly lucky with RNG who will tell you to "just get good" as an ego trip, but deep down they know that these fish suck.
