    You need to think of those edge-cases. As stated as to why Living Dead should just remove the dying part - Yes. 9/10 times you'll live in solo content, but I'm on about those cases where you kill something before healing up and then die because you just can't heal the last bit of your HP. Other tanks will always live, DRK still has a chance of dying.

    Thank you for the kind words, these things about DRK have been on my chest for a while and I just needed to get it out there and get people talkin' about the class.

    As for in general, I know some of my suggestions will be disliked. I understand that DRK is quite different to the other tanks, but the self-sustain and DPS rotation just needs more work/rework.

    End of the day, if they made the DPS rotation better, fixed the self-sustain and those changes affected the whole Class Identity in a good way and ofc got rid of Enhanced Unmend, I'd be mostly OK with leaving DRKs mitigation alone. Although it'd still be nice if they changed some things, but who knows if they'll ever give us that. My heart wants to say that they will, but my gut says otherwise as I found myself agreeing with an earlier comment stating how long it took Living Dead to be reworked...

    Oblation is the worst mitigator in the game. They basically added heart of conundrum to shadow wall instead of oblation because tbn is so good even though it shatters in 1 second in 97 dungeons?

    My thought at least for a kinda general fix;
    Give like 2x charges to Carve and Spit/Abyssal Drain and reduce cd
    Have TBN dark arts proc on hit taken and instead refund some mp when shield pops
    Dark Mind and Missionary, give general mitigation but have bonus effects if the damage taken is magic

    They could do the whole "Dark Knight uses health to deal damage" thing by just having mitigations like Oblation and Dark Mind give a stack of Dark Arts when they're used. So if you use it when there's no outgoing damage, it doesn't give you anything.
    The Blackest Night is a bit rough right now, but honestly I don't know how I would change it. I really like the risk/reward aspect of it, but given that it's either "use it all and be DPS neutral" or "use most of it and be a DPS loss" There's got to be something to improve there.
    Maybe they could chance TBN's cooldown to 45 seconds by default, but if it breaks before the duration ends, the cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds. Then just have it give Dark Arts every time you use it.
    I never played back in the job's golden years, so I wouldn't know if this is old news or not, But I'd also want a DoT to supplement Dark Side. Maybe merge Edge and Flood together to cut down on button bloat, and have a damage over time oGCD that also uses 3000 MP, or can be consumed by Dark Arts.
    Again, I don't know how it worked before, but I think this sort of thing would be a lot of fun. I feel more and more alone lately when complaining about new Paladin, so maybe I'll join the mob asking for Dark Knight to be fixed. I'm struggling to decide on a new tank main, but currently even in it's current state I'm leaning toward Dark Knight.

    DRK feels so anemic compared to the other tanks. 'Technically playable' is not a sufficient enough answer to leave it as is. It needs changes to its gameplay.
