    I may not agree with the Devs but I don't believe they're making an excuse to cover anything up. They simply care too much about adherence to job identity when it comes to the AF sets instead of letting players actually enjoy them.
    I guess the feeling varies from person to person.
    There is always the crafted set, until the later seal gear upgrade, if folks want the omni set.

    Personally, I'll always go with the omni set for crafters and gathers. With my crafters, I'll always glam on the Artisan's set, because I love the aesthetics. With my gatherers, I always glam on the lvl 50 AF, because I like it showcasing the job identity and I love the aesthetics.

    Agreed. Glamour should be made unrestricted besides perhaps artifact sets for combat jobs.

    Reminder that SE has in the past released new gear sets that ae cosmetically the same as an old set, but the pieces have been rearranged to be given to other jobs. Hell, there are version of the sky rat and sky pirate gear that are level 1 crafted and considered universal glam

    The biggest issue I have is that my gatherers and crafted share gear, but job locked glams just don’t work with shared gear. I use the firmament glam items for my gatherers, and if I swap between them outside of a sanctuary it makes me look silly.

    Yep, having to go back to the city every time I change my gathering job drives me effin crazy, lol.

    You know what I cannot get behind?
    Why we even have different crafters and gatherers except for stretching the playtime.

    Most people will end up as omi crafters/ gatherers anyway. Why not consolidate them into a single DoH / DoF with an omnitool with which we can craft anything recipe without the need to switch jobs in between crafts.

    Unlock the restrictions of the gear so that we can go with a preferred aesthetic and I'll be happy.
