The system that removes your rewards for not participating enough does that fine.
Forcing you to be in a party for credit is just open for abuse.
Are you going to do something about this, Square Enix?
I just got in a caravan run and the party openly refused to invite me and another player.
The only option at that point is to hold up the caravan, but even doing that we were still being refused.
FIX THIS, SQUARE! The party requirement needs to go!
Sorta like how they allowed the event ash to be sellable....doesn't take much foresight to know the macro whores are gonna be all over that ONE bombard to sell that ash for 4k a pop.
I'm pretty sure its based on the amount of numbers generated - healing to those active in hurting the monsters works too I believe - being in a party gets you a lot bigger of a number.
I have to say they need to fix this as well. Its really annoying to make a party in Uldah 8/8 and then have some solo person force their way into your party - if you want caravan go to uldah. Without it being a train wreck you must have a party anyways (40+ caravan), so coming without one is silly... That being said its possible to join alone so the problem isnt really fault of the party or single person but of SE's who made colliding systems.

For caravan you dont need a party to join, but to have a good chance of getting points you must be in the party..

Best solution is to remove player count requirement, party count requirement (1 party, 2 party, 0 party) and make the content scale instead - then no matter the situation the content can be enjoyed by as many in any formation.
