Game freezing and stutter

Hey guys.
As of the last hotfix my game has become more laggy, stuttering and now will randomly crash.

i don't know if its been looked at but it seems to happen when a lot of stuff is on the screen.

i have restored my files on steam and repaired them, but the issue is still happening. Thought I'd relay its only gotten a lot worst since the last hotfix.

Maybe NVIDIA App or your FFXIV settings were changed.
What is your system? Are you playing with a controller? Do you have Corsair iCUE software installed?
You can lower the maximum characters in the system settings, it helps in populated cities (like limsa lominsa or hunt trains with >100 people on screen).

Mine and several of my friends have had this stutter since 7.0 launch.

What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)
At what point does the issue occur?
How often does the issue occur?

Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?
Does the issue occur with one character or multiple characters?
When the issue happens, is the PC over heating at all?
Were any update or changes made to the PC around the time of the issue?
Does this issue occur if the game is run in full screen mode? Does it happen in borderless or windowed mode?

All steps taken to resolve the issue:

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.

Votraftur, lots of people are having this issue, and for some reason my thread has not been responded to in a few weeks about it. There's simply something wrong with the programming in 7.0 and we need it fixed ASAP or SE to at least acknowledge that you know about it and are looking into it.
