Similar to PCT’s Subtractive Palette or BLM’s Transpose. It seems like they might be leaning into this kind of duality based on the other casters, and it would add a layer of complexity to SMN while still allowing for a simple baseline rotation and minimal button bloat.

But honestly the problem with smn, at least from my point of view, is that it is bland and is all show and little substance: having few keys to press combined with the fact that they are almost all instant, make smn extremely boring to play seriously and his summons are a bad copy of the other.
