I Love the Endwalker Relic Series

Just wanted to say thanks to the team for making this relic series so straightforward: just 6000 poetics. It'd be nice if Dawntrail had this and another option for those people who don't want to collect poetics but would rather do stuff like light farm or fate farming.

I've always thought that you should be able to do any activity and make progress towards relics. If you have to 'force' players to do specific content, then maybe that content should be changed.

No one force you to do relic. Maybe you're the one who should change your mindset.
Also funny you say that because we're actually "forced" to do Hildibrand just to unlock and progress the relic quest.

Tomestone relic system like in EW is straight up trash. It was okay if it's only the first step, but no it had to be the whole thing.

Isn't this the case for practically everything in the game? If you want to level your island sanctuary you can't go to Totorak and finish it. If you want to get the latest raid weapon you can't farm FATEs for it. You're 'forced' to do relevant content.

While lazy me liked getting easy access to relics for every job, and all the glams they gave us - I felt a lack of commitment to the relic process and certainly a lack of prestige.

I'd think I prefer they go back to more meaningful journeys, even if it means I have to pick only one job to work on it with.

We still have accessible tomestone that works just fine for all the other jobs.

If they did it the similar to Shadowbringer's with Bozja, you could work on multiple steps at once, making it easier to be able to get multiple, if not all, relics done

Felt the same.

On one hand I apreciated that I could get the relic super easy with almost ever 90 job I have...but on the other hand...it lost this "exclusivity" feeling? Like...in every expansion I had to decide beforehand "what 1 (ONE) relic are we going to get in this expansion?" and I would work for that one and be proud of myself for getting that ONE relic. Now All my jobs have the purple/blue glowing weapon and it's like...forgetable?

ps: Still use my HW Mimesis Lux on the SMN because IT'S THE BEST RELIC OF THE GAME.

I mean yeah it's nice now when it's poetics for some glam pieces, but it was bad when it was not poetics and not glam.
