Housing and FPS drops (Verdant Partition?)

I've noticed that any house that has verdant partitions seems to experience SIGNIFICANT FPS drops. I'm talking like between 15 to up to 40 FPS drops in houses that use as few as 4 verdant partitions.

Anyone know what's causing this? Houses that have like no verdant partitions seem to give me a consistent 90+ FPS, regardless of how densely packed the furniture are. I imagine it has something to do with the new lighting that seems to be struggling to make sense of verdant partitions.

I even tried to drop the texture resolution to normal and got 0 FPS increase, so something wonky seems to be going on. So many houses just seem inaccessible due to low FPS, and I dread to think how bad it is for people who don't have at least a 4070 or equivalent GPU

Personally haven't noticed and I have a house with quite a few in them. Is it just verdants or are the houses also using any water-based furnitures? I used to struggle with people using a lot of waterfalls, for example.

Had the same problem in our FC house. My pc just starts to make more noise, while my friend complained that her fps dropped a lot when turning camera. Removing like 6 verdant partition walls helped. And placing them all together in fron of her camera dropped fps again. Idk maybe its the praticle density on this one.

There's also generally water-based furniture, too. It could be a combination of the two, with the waterfall partition's lighting effect causing something weird to happen with the verdant partitions? It's a very intense FPS drop that shouldn't be happening.

My friend had spikes happen with the Imitation Stained Crystal Ornament inside of a few of my houses when they got close.

I havn't noticed it excessively, and I use a lot of them.

Looking at a room full of them I am 135fps. If I go outside I am 147fps. If I look at the grass outside from overhead so nothing else is on my screen I am 181fps. But there are a LOT of tris in that room.

A proper test would be one in an empty apartment room, before and after.

Edit to add a photo showing it's pretty complex with water and various lights

(I will make comment that it does have a complex LOD shadow, and those are newly done in this render pipeline, and that testing with your shadows turned off or low resolution may help users with less powerful video cards, but for gaming rigs, they seem fine with everything up at ultra)

Previous FC lead used a TON of verdant partitions and fountains in our large house and I had to rip them all out post-7.0 because I was dropping to like 10fps. It helped, but my framerate still tanks inside the house. Nothing else in the game causes such a dramatic performance hit for me so I have no clue what's going on with housing.

    Editing to add specs:
    MSI GF65
    Intel Core i5-10500H
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
    16gb RAM
    256GB NVMe SSD
    Windows 11

I haven't noticed anything like this. My FC room has seven verdant partitions and just as many waterfall partitions and it does nothing to my FPS. In my small house I have a section that has a lot of foliage from various sources that I lose several frames moving around in it, but standing still I lose maybe a frame. I expect it's because of all the shadows.

Oh. I may need to check, my FC room has 30+ Indoor Waterfall and around 5-6 Verdant Partition. I made a cave. So now I def need to see what's up.

I think it'd be nice if people added their specs to this, it'd be interesting to see and if there's an issue maybe a bug report can be made with information gathered about performance issues maybe?
