and if you want to play more than one job then you have to spend more time, just stop complaining and grind.
Lak14, lets say a player logs in and wants to do savage so they go into PF. They only have a maiming job and a scouting job leveled, and most of the parties are full on those roles. That person then spends time refreshing the list while sitting and doing nothing until a group shows up that he can join. He joins that group and then... waits. They check the PF and see plenty of groups up and the roles the party is missing are up there in other groups, but time keeps going on and no one joins. This goes on for an hour and a half with no change across the groups on the PF.

That is the reality that savage is going to face eventually even on places like Aether, because that is what it is like when there are only a handful of people actually doing the content. The problem goes way deeper than just loot issues, it's that people can't even get into savage effectively. And I wouldn't say they need more loot drops per week as much as some kind of lockout per role or just make the rewards universal for all jobs. If someone is going to only play one job anyway, then why is it a problem they get something that works on their alts as well? People don't generally "replay" savage on other roles unless they have absolutely nothing better to do. At least outside of specific groups, but those groups also typically clear insanely fast and live and breath the content.

Uh ... as someone who raid on 4 characters for a long time now, and not only that I also play for extend amount of time. There were tiers I farmed enough to get a chest piece for every - single - job. That's usually even before the loots restriction is lifted. And I know for a fact once it does, PF usually would have 2-3 weeks surge where everyone come back and farm some more.

So ... I can say with 99.99% confident that you're either lying, or just trying to manufacture theoretical problems that don't actually exist in reality. Even toward the tail end of the patch cycle, Aether PF would still be extreme active. Sometime I finished thing early and take a couple months break, come back a week or two before the next patch and often I was suprise by how many parties still going on PF. Trying to get some glam you missed? Or the mount for your alt? Or doing merc run for some gil? I'm sorry, but pretty much all of your claim are just imaginary issue in your head, not the reality I actually saw in the game.

Idk I can't relate. I played Dnc in M1s I don't know Mt rotation well to be able to brag but I can drop high numbers and I can stay alive. Most I was hitting was about 120k on boss. I manage to roll get loot and relearn and get loot. I Think I earned it with how I helped. Not all agree but keep loot system the way it is so you feel rewarded for what you did.

None of this actually tries to address any of my points. It's just a bunch of "nuh uh" and I want to believe that you're above that.
    in order, you've said essentially:
    "That's just your opinion"
"I like that FFXIV isn't like other MMOs and want it to be less like them" (ignore that these are also opinions.)
    "I don't understand a simple cliche phrase."
"Deep dungeons exist for people who specifically like Deep dungeon, therefore ruin the gearing for everyone because of the small portion who do Ultimates"
"I skipped the sentence where you said if you were a designer, you'd just leave it be, and make the stated change if you absolutely had to." (Also, isn't it your entire point to make gearing faster for those who want to do Ultimate? What's wrong with making the Ultimate threshold on par with crafted gear if that's the goal?)
"I can't remember what was said just two posts ago about how some unlucky players might only have enough time to gear one class if they only have books" (Also didn't read the part where I preemptively counter the appeal to tradition fallacy)
"I can't understand your analogy, so my rewrite was accurate somehow"

Am I missing anything? Am I being too bad faith here? Because that's pretty much what these posts from you sound like to me. You can keep whining into the wind all you want. I've said my piece a few times now.
