well if you ever want to try it another MMO similar to FFXIV is launching new expac 20 Aug and from what I seen they seem to have actually listened to player feedback

I played WoW for 15 years, FFXIV for almost 2. I would like to keep playing this game. I will never go back to WoW. But in the meantime, when I won't be playing any games, I will finish my cinematic, finish my other projects, that are still shelved. And if this game is shaping up after this fiasco, I'll be back.

was actually referring to GW2 have never in my life played WoW to be honest I grew up on GW and then the games from perferct world and others in the Wuxia genre.

but in all honesty I love FFXIV and am even slogigng through MSQ as I am told the trials are good but I keep my sanity by lvling my jobs and doing believe it or not leve quests and Zodiak relic farming.

For now, I have a little over 3 weeks left on my sub and after that I have to think real hard about coming back. If this is the way the game is going, I won't renew my sub. In this short time I play this game I fell in love with it, but Dawntrail was too much even for my level of patience. All I really want to say is

Despite that, I have no group of friends or anything to spend time with. My FC mates have all either stopped playing or just do their own thing and keep to themselves.

I'm hesitant to join another one because of how saturated the community is with those we've encountered in this thread. Not that I mind them personally, but being surrounded by people that don't share a similar mindset to your own and having to remain silent just to avoid unnecessary drama is something I've been dealing with for just too freakin' long now.

I share the sentiment I left mine due to drama then got kicked out of another due to sharing different viewpoints that does not align with the norm and mostly doing everything alone friendless the major duties cannot be done as you need people, and I have no one.

Good luck and I do hope you find some semblance of a community cause seeing this in a game as large as FFXIV one wonders if all our safe spaces will be taken, and we will just have to sit by silent never to speak for fear of offending

I've got a friend who's drank all the kool-aid on this, and it's just frustrating to talk to them about things sometimes. They were all excited when it was announced that DT would have a "consultancy" group help, and I immediately knew that DT was going to be a shitshow with just that knowledge alone. And here we are, and it's even more of a shitshow than I could even have imagined. Still hasn't stopped them from praising it, and defending Wuk from [buzzwords], though.
