Hating on others to make yourself feel better is a long grown psychological issue in humanity.
The internet in that regard can be a blessing and a curse however. Generally spoken.
Sena needs to go her way. I am sure she will.

I'll put the actual context of that tweet aside and take the bait:
What do you mean 'a few of you'? Less than 1% of subscribers use the forums, why in the world do you think someone in the forums did this? Honestly, why are you even convinced a FFXIV player did this? Sweet Baby has its crowds of haters, and the transphobic are abound. What possessed you to narrow this down to not just FFXIV player, but also to a forum poster, when gross people come out of the woodwork to take swings on people in Sena's situation? Doesn't assuming it was someone here kind of undermine how toxic and transphobic the world is in general?
Why are we 'drawing attention' to something the news, and Sena, have both covered ad nauseum? And why didn't you include the full context of what Sena said in those tweets?
I’ve been playing 14 since 2.0 and I have not once seen the collective community go behind the scenes/character to do what’s transpired here, be it this forum, Reddit, wherever. Not the first time, but this…
I hate Wuk, but her VA did nothing to earn my ire. That being said... what? You've been playing since 2.0 and have not seen the collective community go behind the scenes/character to do what's transpired here? Not the first time? I don't know what that means. You say you've not once seen this, but then say this isn't the first time.
End of the day I'm curious what you expect here? Popularity and fame of success come with death threats: by example, Stephen King still gets them and he's definitively not a trans woman he's just a bad writer. It isn't acceptable, it isn't a good thing, but it is to be expected that the popular get death threats: It's a common-place thing across the entertainment industry in the states. Not *desirable* again, but that's how fame and fortune tend to go in this crazy place.

Bringing attention to the toxicity in this forum is warranted. It's not the entirety or a majority of the community that's hateful, but it's enough to be noticed on multiple platforms, including this one. In this very thread there are users who have made personal and discriminatory attacks against Sena Bryer, and I'm sure the other usual suspects will soon turn up to talk about how she is "misgendering [herself]" like that makes hatred valid.I'll put the actual context of that tweet aside and take the bait:

I get your frustration in seeing posts about this, but the hate is very much present, and I'm okay with bringing up the problem until the moderators do something about the troublemakers.
I admire the usage of "transphobe" despite the user previously saying that we shouldn't be toxic. A rather telling situation of "it's fine if I do it, not fine if someone else does."
I bet that most of this backlash wouldn't be extending this far out if it wasn't for her twitter. The shit she says on there 100% fuels the fire way more.
She just needs to get off the internet for a while honestly. But at this point, she may have done too much damage to her reputation already.
Okay, Cerus. If you think respect isn't earned, I want you to go up to a gang member and say to their faces the most vile things you can say that only their closest family gets to say to them. I would then tell you to come back, but we but know that you'd be six feet under. So much for respect. lol
Threats and doxxing is bad.
But if you can't handle people being rude, get off the fucking internet princess.

I am not a fan of Wuk Lamat and thought her voice acting was "okay" to "awful" depending on the scene. But I don't feel the need to go to Sena's Twitter account and tell her how awful I thought her performance was and that I think she should lose that role. They aren't going to redub an entire expansion, so why the need to confront the actor to make them feel bad? The feedback should go to the decision makers of the game and the casting director for allowing this.
Death threats and threats against someone's family are never okay. Especially over a video game performance. This remains true even if they tweet annoying things that seem hypocritical.
Sena does tweet a lot of things that are questionable, and seem cis-phobic and aimed at removing jobs from cis people she doesn't think deserves them in favor of more trans actors. I think to many she is unlikeable as a person and tries to use identity and victimhood to her advantage. But as distasteful as she can come across, her life should not be threatened.
But I agree with the poster above, this should go to the police, rather than what she asked for - the "industry" to drop what they are doing and rally behind her.
See this bit right here is exactly why I don't think anything actually happened. VA showed no evidence, which just screams "Give me Attention and Support", cause she's probably going to loss current and future prospects based off this performance and how overall unlikeable she has been.
But I don't believe anyone unless they come with actual evidence, and she has provided none.
