There's a reason all these threads are so successful, and it's not because of a certain minority identity lmfao.

It's so hilarious to me that so many of the people asking "why do people make it everything about identity" are the ones who reply non-stop in these threads. But honestly at this point it also just makes me sad; it's a sad indictment of how far we as a species have fallen.

They're all probably banned from other FFXIV communities, so they gather here to an unmoderated forum to just be awful people because it's the only place where they can get away with it. At this point I think they should leave the thread here, so everyone knows who to blacklist.

The same reason women have a prefix of Mrs, Miss, or Ms. To determine a woman's marriage status or age, but at the end of the day? It comes down to personal preference how someone wants to be addressed.

I am over 20 + not married. I get called all 3 depending on who I'm talking to and what information they have available/what they visually see. Doctors call me Ms., the guy I pick up pizza from calls me Mrs. ("Have a good day Mrs.") and the guy at the gas station that likes to hit on anyone with a pulse calls me Miss.

Am I supposed to go rage at all of them and demand to be addressed a certain way? No. That's literally dumb. I'll just get my things and move on with my day.
