I've been avoiding engaging with your repeated rhetoric, but this one irks me. They is a gender neutral term. It was, has been, and will continue to be used to refer to individuals without malice or direction of gendered language. Even if it bothers you, I'd point you in the direction of the social movements that pushed so hard for it to be a gender neutral term. This is an intellectually dishonest dog-whistle. People being transphobic is awful, but if you draw the line to transphobia at basic distinctions of a functional language than you're doing more harm to the cause than help.
Hanlon's Razor. Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by ignorance.
Just further proof that nothing you do will ever be good enough for these types. Even using "they" is now an affront to everything they (oops) believe in.I've been avoiding engaging with your repeated rhetoric, but this one irks me. They is a gender neutral term. it's all those things and also a convenient way to avoid properly gendering someone whose gender you don't actually recognize. I don't think everyone who refers to her as "they" is a foaming-at-the-mouth transphobe because there are a lot of ways to be tacitly and accidentally transphobic (and nobody has to be burnt at the stake for that kind of thing!!!) but I also think pretending that everyone who is actively malicious actually just has no clue what they're doing or saying at any given point in time is just as silly.
Ask yourself: would you refer to Y'shtola's voice actor as "they" even if you didn't know her name? What about Urianger's? Let's be real here, the answer is no.

We needed an 8th thread about this
It’s just sad that people hide behind LGBTQ and label valid criticism as transphobic. Like I have a trans friend I play final fantasy almost everyday and being in voice with them talking and even they said this behaviour just undermines all the problems they have. Being open and decent human being and accepting flaws and failures in this time and age is pretty rare.

It is amazing that the experience is suddenly removed from everyone just because of one character, I think Wuk is a fresh new personality that we should embrace, however hates is going to be hater and especially for no given reason, which I don't really get.. each expansion is not the second coming of whatever special person whenever it get ti it, it is a game, enjoy the game, if don't like the game find another game.

I think the issue is the fact that the 'story-first MMO' somehow managed to bungle the story--you don't see this kind of stink being stunk in WoW, for example. And they not only bungled the story, but stapled our character to a new face that many have deemed insufferable for a variety of reasons.
I agree that people should play games that they enjoy, but 'if you don't like it find something else' has always been a toxic and unhelpful rebuttal to criticism.

Honestly I don't play wow and never did, and takign in other MMORPG's and the likes in comparison to this one or others, make a very little sense, especially why did one leave that one in the first place to start complaining about this one and wanting to make it be like the one MMO, one has left to begin with make absolutely no sense at all.I think the issue is the fact that the 'story-first MMO' somehow managed to bungle the story--you don't see this kind of stink being stunk in WoW, for example. Story is just a gate you need to pass to unlock the content, and story has very little to do with the actual MMO's however it yet still is a factor of the NPC based story lines, but in the end, it is the content that people do after the story that matter the most, and that involves playing the game with other players, which is where the Roleplay comes in, even if am strictly anti RP... then you put on the mantle for just doing simple things as doing daily roulettes or taking part in Ex Trials, Treasure maps, Savage, fates or whatever else content that requires you to interact with other players of where doing the content content with other players is optional.
And that is the end of the story, whenever it get to it.
