Based off the replies I do not think they care about someone's gender identity. Seems to be the other way around.
why cant we adress people depending on their biological sex? it would make everything easier and people can still feel whatever they feel / want to feel / think what they feel.
Because forcing you to address them as something they are not is a power move. That's it, that's the extent of it. It let's them feel they have power over other's, by forcing them to adhere to that which is not real.

Because you can't always tell what someone's biological sex is just by looking at them, so how would you determine that? Are you gonna force people to do chromosome testing before you decide what to refer to them as? Check out what they got in their pants?
Or you know, we could just ask them what they prefer to go by or have them tell us and just not be weirdos about it like polite, mature adults.
Like, we just saw a good example of this with that Algerian boxer at the Olympics, and now she is rightfully taking legal action against the weird ass people who "decided" what they thought was her biological sex based off just ~vibes~.

Why are forum moderators allowing all these threads that are just pages and pages of political ideology?
Unless you’re here to tell me that the Ul’dahn sultanate are all reptiles, the ‘pirates’ in Limsa were hired actors, or that Gridanians literally sacrifice their kids to elementals every so often and they’re transmogrified into a separate race, I don’t wanna hear it. One of those three things is true.

My sweet summer child, it's all three
Definitely all three, including the U'ldah hidden tails and the Admiral's Oscar award endowed bookshelf. Personally I would kill to have Padjal as a playable race, however, Limsa shows why that couldn't ever happen.
And these forums, for that matter. A magnet for the unhinged. And I do include myself in that number although maybe not as insane as some of the ones we are seeing in their two warring cults in this thread.
It beggars belief in so many ways, that the USA arm of SE, knowing full well the nature of their own country, would place anyone (customer, staff, or contractor) into direct harms way when Blind Freddy (to use an Aussie colloquialism) would know what was going to happen when the warring factions faced off over a firebrand.
Did the USA office of SE do this on purpose? Because it was a super stupid move with some pretty obvious consequences.

I...I don't know how to explain social queues to people like you. It's like trying to explain to your weird uncle that it's not appropriate to ask a woman how far along she is. It's just weird.
I got a better question: why are we going on about this in an FF14 thread? It's deplorable how Sena Bryer is being treated by parts of the fanbase right now, but using it to furnish this argument for the umpteenth time does her a disservice.
