I learned about this thread because of people making fun of y'all. First off, bridget from guilty gear is trans full stop. Daisuke her creator has said so in interviews. People who try to say it's wrong or the creator is being censored unable to say the truth or whatever. Is all made up BS by weebs that like to get their rocks off to feminine guys because they like the concept of overly fetishize crossdressers who look completely like women but are actually guys. So they try to argue at every turn about daisuke making bridget trans. It's absolutely annoying behavior to see especially from "FFXIV players" I'm thankful most of the community isn't like y'all. I'm also thankful the bridget discussions have died down everywhere because people saying she isn't trans have been told to shut up and proven wrong.

I love people who join a discussion that's something to be made fun of/not taken seriously while also providing a serious response lol. Welcome to the club. I don't really even know/care about whatever this Bridget discussion is as I have 0 knowledge of guilty gear but this response made me giggle either way.

- Everyone on reddit is 40 years old and makes pickle rick jokes but it's Emet Selch instead of pickle rick. They post pseudo-intellectual dribble, outdated references and jokes, and have a superiority complex about everything

- Forums are a cancer pit mostly comprised of shitposts and people who argue because it's fun and lets off some steam

My point: All of FF14 community is the laughing stock. Doesn't matter where you go. We're MMO players for god's sake - no one's writing home about our contributions to society

I will agree that the trans hate is extremely disheartening. But calling every single person on the entire forum a laughing stock for it is kinda silly
