DPS deserve commendations too!

Always irks me that a bad Tank or Healer will always get coms long before a good DPS (Especially if you are phys Ranged).

So bit of a request to people.
If you see a DPS do a good job? Give them a com instead of the Tank who couldn't hold Agro, of the Healer who AFKed only using Regen.

I get it, DPS doing a good job isnt as visible as a Tank or healer, i know WAR DPS is above that of Phys Range and in some cases Magic DPS.

Nothing like being DPS, pulling a clutch win on that last 1% with everyone else dead only for the Tank or Healers to get the full 7 comms lol.
We might see a few less toxic mentors if they cant simply farm coms on Tank/healer to get there in a day or two.

I only give comms to dps who don't die to mechs and LB without being told too. The only other option would be to rez someone so I don't have too as a healer. If you pull a clutch cool but it almost never happens but I'd comm you if it happened

I do the same, i don't com DPS purely because they are DPS and that's not what I'm trying to say with this topic.
Basically what im getting at is, if a DPS is good, does everything right etc, then they deserve a com just as much as a tank or healer, but what i ssee is players who Tank and heal who dont know what their doing getting an entire party's worth of coms purely on the grounds that they are a Tank or healer when in the same party there is likely a good quality DPS whos covering their asses and will walk away ignored for their efforts.

Hell Tanks are even handed a free mount for simply playing (And some healers get them for purely doing their job quests.) Or more accurately for spending an hour running Deltascape 3.
DPS dont get these perks and work just as hard, at the very least they deserve a com for their time. XD

Hard disagree with covering ass statement. Dps does dps things, tank eats damage, and healers heal people. Like a dps isn't going to save the day...like idk what your looking for but just don't die and LB you will get comms.

I personally don't care for the comm system I've been playing since 2.0 and I have alot but it's kinda meh for me, don't care that much.

lol i get yelled at if i "Waste" the LB on trash more often than not so stopped. (Dancer main) Have even been booted from groups, had vote abandon for using the LB instead of magic or Melee in a dungeon.
Last night was a bit of a fun example. Was grinding Vanguard gear for glam on my WAR and scored a party with 2 bards.
They tried but the fights were slooow.
We hit the section with the 5 electric bird things and one of them popped LB. The enemy's health didnt even budge a single % point.
Couldn't help but give them the "You Tried" award with a rainbow sticker.
Think for the first time i thought "Bards feel like they might be in a bad place currently."

Jokes on you, when you're a lala, you get comms no matter the role you play.

If you want free comms, you picked the wrong option.
