People who want to unlock mentor roulette kinda have to because you need 1500 of them to unlock it. Other than that, they're fairly inconsequential.

I usually get at least one or two commendations as a Bard, but I think that’s because people feel sorry for me playing a phys ranged lol *cries into flute*

Also not to toot my own horn but I am the fastest in the west at removing cleanse-able status effects. Paralysed? Paean go brrrrrrr. Poison? Gone before the first tick!

…it’s not like I have anything else to do as a Bard, all our support is passive and the ‘rotation’ is just Burst(proc) Burst Refulgent (proc) etc Iron Jaws every 45s lol

Comms are overrated and outdated. Honestly, all they do is feed people's ego, and half the time the people don't need to get their over inflated ego inflated even more. I don't hand them out unless they do something that saves the run/shaves time off the run.

If people wish to become mentors, they require 1500 comms. So its somewhat important for them. While yes, you do need to level up a Heal or Tank as well, some mentors main DPS thus prefer to run them/give advice on them.
