Something that continues to bring me joy, crafting in The Empty and just chilling to that remix of Blue Fields.

The first time i saw Thordan say : "What are you?".
It filled me with an evil joy to have beat the crap out of this guy.... And you all know why.

Most recently it has been leveling Viper with its associated job quest and the melee role quests (not quite done but watching the Viera archer get glasses... heh.)

But in a recent leveling roulette I joined an in prog Tam Tara Deepcroft, and it was just a newbie conjurer with level 8 gear. They said that everyone else lost connection, and that their friend was trying desperately to get back in. Was at the very end of the dungeon, just before the 4 zombies guarding the seal rosary.

Viper is so strong at that level relative to what it was initially balanced against that I was able to walk forward and kill the 4 zombies before the sprout conjurer understood I was serious about fighting them. They were surprised that I lived, and got on board with duoing through rather quickly. We opened up the seal but they panicked and died to the devilets because they tried to out run them heh.

I then had to solo kill the demon just before the Soulflayer boss. After I killed it, the Conjurer's Pugilist buddy showed up in the instance.

And this baby Conjurer who'd done nothing but die and watch me kick ass says, "Ok, let's fight the final boss. I'm ready now!" I guess he wanted to show off to his friend, heh. And we trio'd it no problem.

It's cute little interactions like this that are holding me over until the FFXI 24 man. Which I'm still very worried about.

NGL, Them adding Viera probably brought me the most joy.
I dont play one, but when i see a Viera girl out in the world, it makes me smile and my brain release the happy chemicals it refuses to give me any other time.

I main Miq'ote because I'm a cat at heart and playing anything else just doesn't feel right, but their faces just don't have the same appeal as Viera females.

So yeah i like Viera's, they bring me joy to see and it seems to be something non fleeting unlike clearing hard content the first time.

just recently went back to do a old shadowbringer side quest for Dark Knight, and I met my dark half again, seeing my character talk and be ominous was great. Also the way they stood back to back as they conversated was touching to me,

Using the machinist lb on a fleeing target in pvp, this is just the best this game can provide in term of satisfaction.
