Share something that brought you joy

I wanted to make a thread where people could celebrate something they did or experienced in the game that made them excited or happy or gave them some measure of fulfillment. I was inspired to make this thread because I recently completed something that made me happy, and I realized that there are probably plenty of other players with something worth celebrating and sharing as well. And I want to hear those things and celebrate them with you, because I think it's more fun to celebrate as a group.

Whether it's beating an Ultimate, making a friend, or just putting together a nice glam, I hope this can be a thread where folks can share all manner of things that feel worth celebrating together. I'll kick things off:

I've been slowly working on the final step of my first Bozja relic since Shadowbringers; it's been years, but yesterday I finally finished all 195 duties to finish my BLM's ShB relic. And it turns out that it's neon colors work perfectly for my Solution 9 glam, which was a great bonus. And finishing that gave me a feeling of contentment that I didn't want to keep inside.

So how about you? I'd love to hear what you have to share!

It's hard to say when I'm bored with the game itself. But one thing made me come back to play, and I think it's the only thing that gives me pleasure in logging in, is the comic RP that my friends and I have been doing since Stormblood. Creating stories, spending time editing them in Photoshop, and then gathering all the participants and readers on Discord to read the next chapter of the RP is simply all the joy that this game currently brings me.

Mmmm mine is an experience in DF from while back... I still remember it profoundly.

I always wanted to experience Shinryu in current content with a certain blonde man being my favorite character, I always lamented the fact that I joined the game on 5.1. I would never experience these trials 'blind' at all.

One day I was queueing for it and I ended up with 7 sprouts, I pretended not to know and let them figure things out, they were all precious and were interactive in chat. I guided them very minimally without being intrusive to their experience. It was such a profound experience, it might seem silly, but they gave me something I always yearned for- even if I knew that fight and its extreme version very well. I felt abit silly when I teared up when they said they had alot of fun and thanked me for being there.

My first Player Commendation and the tell, that came with it. I am a fairly new player, wow refugee and a lot older then the average gamer and my reactions are slower. I told that upfront in the first trial in ARR and got the sweetest reactions. I didn't die once and got such nice reactions and that tell basicly told me, that I was a awesome senior gamer and should never let anyone tell me otherwise.

I found a new FC full of wonderful people who all pitched in to buy me a small plot of land.

- I am not the best dps out there but being able to survive in extremes and banking 39 kills (so far) as a noob in ex1 with achievement in ex2 as well.
- The graphic update of FFXIV
- Being helpful and motivational during progging groups in ex1
- The cumulus mount in ffxiv
- I am happy my search ended for a mmo-home 9 years ago. Going to stay here until the servers say goodbye.

I recently started leveling Culinarian and Botanist and I'm surprised how much fun it's been running around gathering ingredients for Tradecraft Leves and cooking up the ingredients.

Makes me feel like Door Dash.
