    Another Dark Knight Rework thread: Buffs and action interactions

    Hi all,

    Here are my thoughts on the DRK Rework with regards to buffs and interaction between actions.

    Note: i avoided going into potencies for the sake of not oversweating over this..

    ++ Rework of buffs:

    Dark arts:
    - Gained by executing Flood/Edge of Darkness/Shadow
    - to avoid overstacking, Flood/Edge will have a CD of 5 Sec.
    - Upgrade some weapons skills, effect ends upon use:
    .(Single target) upgrades SoulEater to Power Slash: raw stronger damage attack without the hp heal
    .(Aoe) upgrades Unleash to Tar Pit (a HW PVP WS): stronger damage aoe with a heal

    Dark Side:
    - Gained once blood weapon effect expires or TBN effect expires (regardless of the TBN shield breaking or not)
    - Causes the next Edge/Flood to be executed without MP

    "Shadowbringer" token:
    - ShadowBringer attack has no CD now but requires 2 stacks of this token, instead of the 2 charges which is spent every 2 minutes
    - A Token is gained after every execution of Blood Spiller, Quietus or the Delerium combo actions.
    Note: Similar to SAM Shoha, but with 2 stacks required.


    ++ Changes to Mitigation and sustainability:

    TBN:
    - Grants a HoT once the shield breaks

    Abyssal Drain:
    - Has 2 charges on a 1 min. CD
    - No longer shares a CD with CnS
    - Grant a single base heal, additionally grants smaller heals per targets affected.

    Oblation:
    - In addition to the damage reduction, increases the Healing recieved by 10%

    Dark Mind:
    - Reduce all damage by 15%
    - Reflects some of the magic damage recieved back to target (similar to vengeance damage reply)

    Dark Missionary:
    - In addition to the party Mitigation, grants a "Bloodbath-ish" effect to party

    ++ Other changes:
    - CnS now has a 30 sec. CD instead of 1 Min.
    - Salted Earth has a 1 min. CD instead of 90 Sec.
    - MP cost of relevant DRK actions is reduced from 3000 to 2500
    - Increase MP gain from actions with MP drain

    my favorite part is the abyssal drain charges, but combine oblation into AD. AD would just add the effect of oblation. I don't love the idea of a per hit heal, bc then you just have bloodwhetting, which I think is the equivalent of an in game cheat code.
    I'd pick one or the other between AD chargesand a TBN HoT. for the same reason, it would make trash pulls too easy.

    A bigger issue to me is that * of darkness/shadow is repetitive after a while. GNB has fated circle after ever 1-2 aoe, now with a continuation. Then it has burst strike after every aeo, but you rarely even need to use it because you're saving cartridges for gnashing fang.. GNB has so many options that you don't even have to use them all.
    reducing the blood gauge cost on quietus and bloodspiller to 25 would really go a long way imo just simply to make it more interesting, or give us a better 50 cost option and a 25 cost option.
