They're welcome to leave and not get the clear if they want.Translation- when I survive because I take 80% less damage than my party, have an inordinate amount of free self healing and extra defensives to press when I know I’ve made a mistake it’s my right to hold the whole party hostage who runs on a much smaller margin for error

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
To "Um ackshully" straight back; [When undertaking duties using the Unrestricted Party option, players can now elect to leave a duty even during combat.]Sorry I don't mean be like "um ackshully" but I just wanted you to know you can leave instances even during combat now. Granted yes there will likely be a lockout but I don't know about you I'd take that over being witness to someone's desire to flex. Remove the audience and no doubt it'd suddenly be not as appealing.
This is not the case in regular DF, only when using unrestricted party.

Well that's annoying. Thank you for the correction.
