    Guildhests

Please add a guide at the start saying what you need to do to pass it and make so can't skip past it. Nothing more frustrating than waiting 10 minutes in queue just to have ones fail it because they won't listen to you and have no clue how to pass it.

There's a pop-up at the start of each one that does exactly that.
"Can't skip past it" however you imagine that getting implemented will not stop the type of people who don't read continuing their ways.

Now, hang on a second.. I'd like to hear OP's ideas on how to force people to read.

The only guildhest that it's actually possible to fail is Hero on the Half Shell.
Personally, I think the person who gets the killing blow on the Turtle should be banned from the game if they somehow ignore their other party members, the "bring the turtle over to the sack" from the NPC, and the information in the popup.

I've never seen this one failed. The one I always see failed is the one where you have to land a killing blow on all of the enemies simultaneously, or they respawn with full HP, because it wants you to accomplish this at a level where tanks are still the only jobs that have AoEs that don't have drop-off damage past the first enemy hit. Overall, guildhests are the most outdated content in the game and should honestly just be removed at this point because none of the mechanics they are designed to "teach" you actually exist elsewhere in the game anymore, with maybe a few outlying exceptions in Coils of Bahamut. Probably just a leftover piece of content that's still there thanks to the 1.0 spaghetti code they've never been able to get rid of.

I've seen the turtle hest failed only once in all the time I've been playing. It only happens if you've got a tank who won't listen and bring it where it needs to be.

As for Ward Up, "AOEs with drop-off damage" won't do anything to help you here. The intended solution is knowing there is a time to entirely stop doing AOE damage and wait until you can single-target the invincible one.

In any case, if the fight goes on long enough, they summon a bigger demon and you just kill that one.
