Kinda related, there was a thread not long ago encouraging people to take a break or quit if they needed to for their own health. So I consider this in the same vein.

I did buy DT, couldn't stand the story but finally managed to finish it a couple days ago. It has left me with no interest in the MSQ unless they improve or change things. So I'm going to try the new WoW expansion when it comes out, then after that I'll check out ESO or Swtor as I haven't played either in a while and it should be interesting to see what is new. And I've been meaning to give GW2 a proper try so I'd also like to play that. Not to mention the massive backlog of single player games I have that has been sitting around collecting digital dust.

I think the whole one game and nothing else mentality is really unnecessary, though I also understand it as MMOs are designed around you devoting all your time to just that game. But it is good to try other things. You wouldn't just watch one movie or read one book in your lifetime, so why resign yourself to only playing one game? Most of all games should be enjoyed, if you're not enjoying it then it might be better to look to a different one.

Personally, I'll be checking out streams of the patch MSQ as it comes out to see how it goes. If I like the look of it I'll come back, if I don't I'll just continue playing other things and waiting.
