Low rDPS and the fact its meant to be the damage focused job in the physrange role, since BRD and DNC are based around maintaining buffs. Though those two also need damage buffs obviously too, MCH needs higher rDPS and aDPS it having good nDPS is only applicable to stuff like critieon or DDs where raid buffs arent as powerful.

DNC and BRD team buffs are already included in rDPS. So it's not fair to say they should have lower rDPS because they have buffs that are already accounted for in rDPS. If anything jobs that bring team DPS buffs should have slightly higher rDPS then purely selfish jobs. For aDPS and nDPS, selfish jobs should be higher. And they always are.

BRD's personal damage needs a dramatic buff without raising it's synergy damage -- DNC too to a lesser extent. And MCH needs to be able to play into buffs better. Not good. Phys ranged balance is actually awful right now.
That average difference in raid contribution in terms of rDPS is 300 for the upper 75th percentile. That doesn't seem like a huge difference to me. Not nearly enough to say one is very low and the other is very high. And at the moment BRD rDPS is a bit higher then DNC. Why does BRD need a bigger buff then DNC? For AoE damage I very much agree, BRD needs a huge buff for AoE. But for single target, the whole rphysical role that needs a huge buff, and none much more then the other.

With considerations to how dance partner works, and because I think they generally want to avoid doubles being viable, a BRD should be a better dance partner choice than another DNC given player skill, and gear are similar. BRD also has to fulfill being a 'ranger' despite its name, and buffs. It uses a bow after all, and its rotation is very busy so its personal damage should be much higher. The potency numbers are not reflecting that. A lot of gamefeely stuff is really off right now. The discrepancy between its raid buff power, and personal attack power is too wide.

    To break down that list.
How dance partner works = already accounted for in rDPS metric
Avoid doubles being viable, BRD should be better dance partner = why exactly?
BRD fullfilling the ranger role = a optional theme is not really a good reason for any job to be higher or lower in terms of how much it brings to the fights.
BRD uses a bow = I don't see why that matters for a conversation about rDPS balance.
Busy rotation = buff window DNC is also insanely busy

All in all, yes the role needs huge buffs. But those are not good reasons for why 1 job should have (any significant amount of) higher, or lower, rDPS then other the jobs within the role.

Except they do matter a lot actually. I have read too many comments saying things like 'none of the attacks are satisfying,' 'too busy for little reward,' 'boring burst shot spam.' etc. So while the math says that BRD is strong now, the actual vicarial gameplay does not. There is a disconnect, and that needs to change.

Same for DNC, except the actual numbers are a bit lower. Still feels very weak when playing the game. And judging by the numerous complaints from MCH players, also same for MCH.
