The viera hat issue is pretty ridiculous

I was pretty happy to see the Dungeon 4 Armor had a helm that worked for Viera, but then I get the level 99 artifact armor and yet again it doesn't work with Viera

Look, when Viera were first introduced and a bunch of helms didn't work with them, I was pretty accepting and understanding. But this was supposed to be with the assumption that going forward, they would try and add more compatability with older helms and, more importantly, make the NEW helms work with Viera. But that hasn't been the case. Every once in a while we get thrown a cool bone but come on. The artifact armor? Really?

We are two expansions past shadowbringers now, there's no good excuse to not at >Bare minimum< make NEW helms compatible with all the races. And really all the old helms should have been made to work by now, too.

I know it's been complained about ad nauseum but man the new artifact armor helm not working really shocked me here. I can't believe even that they can't be bothered to make work.

Yeah, but I feel like most Viera players wouldn't mind their ears clipping through hats. After all, it's better than their ears being deleted, like what's been happening to the Miqo'te recently.

I dunno about most, I would probably wear little to no hats. The thought of a race with long ears that would go out of their way to cut holes on a straw hat sounds ridiculous to me. Or a turban, lmao. Not to mention those hoods. Imagine how you would take them off.
As I said, ridiculous. But hey, that's just me.

Miqo'te have been getting their ears removed by headgear on and off since late Heavensward. It's just gotten more consistent lately.

Just let the ears clip through, squex. It doesn't matter if it doesn't look absolutely perfect. Besides we all know the devs lack the 3d modeling skill to actually make proper hats with ear holes anyway, it takes them years just for a few.

I know this is for bunnies but has a hroth it's also just as egregious. Our ears are short and hats that should work simply don't. Let the damn ears clip SE! Aura have their horns basically clip through helms that should not even be possible to put on in the first place. So why cant it be done with floppy ears.

The same way you ride dragons, shoot fireballs, and shoot a living being in the face and it only loses 1% of its life. This is a game, that's the answer.

If you don't like it, you always have the option to "turn off" the hats. What's really ridiculous is the company not doing anything about it, even after a mod creator proved that it's not that complicated.
