I'm fine with them being in the game, I just wish there were options for them. Changing the color, moving them, disabling them, etc.
I've been saying this for awhile but the particle effects in some fights are so jarring and aggressive that I have to move my camera constantly to even see my character.
I love flashy effects but I'd like to be able to see the fight as well. It makes harder, chaotic parts feel like a visual assault.
Incorrect. Stricter item level sync will make the game more frustrating in general.
ppl can argue it all they want the fact is the game is at an all-time low ratting then it has ever been. its almost getting to 1.0 ratings and that's honestly sad. SE keeps promising this and that but never delivers on it. They half ass patch stuff. The sole and only reason so many players come back and played this expansion was cause of the new direction that honestly fell short and they ended right back at the same point the game has been at for 10-11years now. I get it 14 was a huge loss to SE and they cut cornors to save money but that half ass patch work fast release of 2.0 which at the time was fine is now coming back to bite them in the ass. So now they just throw impossible to see mechs in and call it done
I still haven't finished the MSQ, finally realised that no game is worth physical pain so I've cancelled my sub. The silence from the devs on the issue says a lot. Thankfully there's lots of other great games out there. The last Dungeon and Trial in DT are so bad with visual noise that I had to warn two friends of mine to be careful before doing it, and carried one dead for half of it because they couldn't look at the screen.
Knowing they patched Nier for similar issues, I'm surprised and disappointed they haven't addressed those issues yet (Along with the motion sickness caused by the mount tilt, which is another thread entirely)
Thank you for helping your friend through it. While that surely was not how they'd have wanted to experience it, it's heart-warming to see that people do care that this is affecting others and doing what they can to help.

The devs need to sit down with some accessibility experts and comb through all the existing content to craft better options for on screen alerts and visual effects. I'm still begging them to provide an alternative HUD font or redesign the current one a bit to make numbers less visually ambiguous at times.
it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.
