English VA Work - Please keep it AAA

It's safe to say that there is a lot of collective frustration regarding the English VA work in Dawntrail. Many players have had their main scenario quest experience negatively impacted by poor quality English voice acting from certain characters.

Please do not allow this to happen again in the future. It is crucial that all VA work put into the game is of quality. We have come to expect a higher standard than what was delivered in Dawntrail.

And keep to the stellar British VAs and studio that were used in previous expansions, instead of settling for an American studio and its VAs who are normally stuck doing subpar anime dubs.

English VA is fine, Just because it didn't meat a small vocal minority expectations in *certain* parts doesn't mean it was entirely bad. A lot of people had had 0 to no issues with the voice acting apart from a small parts and thats not the VA fault, it has to do more with the production and direction.

The character shall remain nameless, fell flat in delivering a good english VA. It lacked depth and more important, it lacked emotion. It was an almost monotone voice. No feelings came through, nothing. It was a continues flat voice. So no, it was not fine.

Don't keep games AAA, AAA games suck... and Larian showed what games should be like with Baldurs Gate 3 and in one simple strike put all current AAA games to shame.

The point is, it does not need to be perfect to be good.

True. AAA doesn't have much to do with it.

Just keep the voice acting high quality. Actually control what the VAs are doing. Check their microphones. Give them direction. And if they fail their takes for whatever reasons... Well, either redo them until the quality is up to par... Or find someone else.

This used to be one of the games where I'd recommend the English VA. Now it's just one more game where I'll tell people to switch to JP before they rage quit. It's a shame. We aren't paying any less, the drop in quality isn't acceptable.

I don't know people keep blaming the VA, like there aren't people whos job is casting, directing and approving actors.
