Being forced to Data Center travel just to do content is extremely inconvenient

Before I start with anything, I do know that this exact topic was addressed not more than 3 months ago in an interview with Mister Yoshi'P himself..

but really, I just cant help myself not to mention this again so recently..

This Data Center Content issue needs to be fixed, much sooner than planned,
Savage came out this Week, and not even a week into it, people are already focusing on light's Data Center just to do Content...

As you can clearly see I am from Ragnarok / Chaos, which is extremely populated.. however for some reason, Our Dc is always struggling with party finder, specially in late hours of the night,

I Honestly do not know what is it about light that makes people Flock over there just to do content, which results in having very few party's listed in Chaos's Party finder...

Which then Literally forces you to leave everything just to travel to said DC with a higher amount of duties listed just to do content " Like the savage that just got released "

this is honestly extremely inconvenient, when were on another DC than Ours, sometimes for hours at a time,
1- we cant talk to our friends.
2- we cant utilize fc buffs.
3- cant access retainers to sell or store etc.
4- cant use linkshells or fc chat.
5- cant access my house or fc house.

and there are probably more things that we cant do, also it just feels extremely Weird when you are on another dc!
We really really need Cross DC party finder... or have them merged again... I honestly do not know, but this isn't it.

Having Dc travel is really good for the game because we can join groups and statics faster, but in many ways it feels like a double edged sword that punishes you when doing so ):

This issue is really really horrendous and I honestly believe more people need to speak up about it.

It's honestly miserable.

It's worse when you can't even travel due to "congestion" so you're stuck where you are. You can't transfer to the server because its congested. It also costs money to have to keep doing it.

I'd rather wait in a queue on a congested server vs be stuck playing without friends, and its harder when they're all on different servers.

Well, since you said it yourself this has been talked about many times before ... so what exactly what you want SE to do about it?

- Crossed DC's PF: I think if this is possible to do the would already do it. It's like the magic wand, it'll solve all problem except the magic wand doesn't exist.

- Disable DC travel: on one hand, it'll help DC's like yours who have the mean but lacking the will to foster their own PF scene. On the other hand it'll piss a lot of people off.

Some people will quickly point at SE for being responsibility for this behavior. But even if it's true, it won't change the fact it is the player base who decide to continue this prophesy. Sometime, in order to solve some issues you'll need corporations from both sides of the argument. It's like most everlasting human conflict, there are more interest in pinning the blame on the other side, believe others have the sole responsibility of solving your issue while abstaining the fact yourself from continuing to enable the bad behavior.

When Dynamis was created, omitting an additional split was a significant oversight. Ideally, all worlds should have been shuffled again, with one new world added to each group. Later, another world could be added to each cluster in the second set of four new North American servers. It's funny when I join an ather party and 7/8 others are from primal anyways, it's so sad too, UPR had such a a nice community I played with on my alt.

I think if people keep forcing SE's hand we'll be seeing more restrictions, piling on one DC and assigning it to be the 'raid' DC is stupid because it also forces others who want to do content to go there because there's barely anything at all.

When DC travel got introduced Chaos PF essentially became a wasteland, I stopped doing extremes. I hate losing access to my retainers/storage/fc buffs. I get that people want to play with their friends and I think there should be no restrictions had people interacted with the system normally rather than hivemind piled on one DC.

If DC PF was introduced it would be region specific, so there would be no region PF as in no NA players doing a DC PF with Japanese or European players.

Balmung learned the hard way years ago when it got locked down for close to 6 months. No new characters, no world transferring to Balmung. Oh people hated it and cried loudly about how SE needed to open the world up but SE didn't budge and only released the restrictions after the population lowered.

well for one, I'd like them to merge all EU Dc's under one party finder - Just like how it was in HW (: that is possible because it was that way before they made the split. so don't get all fancy with ur quate " Magic wand "

They did say it is possible but "not worth the effort" so I dont know what you are talking about
