A player provided feedback about something they disliked about the game. That's the intended purpose of the general forums. If they want to announce their departure from the game in the same thread that's completely fine too and doesn't violate forum policies. It's a useless thread imo. Player no longer plays the game, it's yet another waste of time forum post. Problem isn't what their reasoning is. It's that they don't have a reason to announce to the forums they are leaving and looking for sympathy. Like who cares about your sub? Nobody not even SE because your already out the door.

The Legends of the Titanmen lives on, a shining example of the power of compassion and the ability of people to make a difference in the world. A reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope, as long as there are heroes like the Titanmen who dare to do good deeds in Eorzea.
Moderation here is weird it normally takes a while for a thread to be taken down unless it's something really bad.
At least it gives us a grace period to see the spergdom.
Here you go. Up it is up to your standards.
Pfft, everyone knows they don't work weekends XDThe term "woke" originally emerged from African American Vernacular English (AAVE) and was used to describe a heightened awareness of social and political issues, particularly those related to racial injustice and inequality. It was a way of being alert to systemic problems and injustices.
In recent years, the term has evolved and broadened. It’s now often used more generally to describe an awareness of various social issues, including those related to race, gender, and other forms of discrimination. However, it has also been co-opted and used pejoratively in some contexts to criticize what some see as excessive political correctness or overzealous activism.
So, "woke" can mean being socially aware and conscious of injustice, but its interpretation can vary depending on the speaker and context. -Chat GPT
lol ok? bye?
You know these type really have brainworms bad when they claim to have played every other FF game, somehow didn't care about the androgynous characters and very obvious themes like pro environmentalism, anti imperial, and anti-religious messaging throughout many of the titles, but Dawntrail was too "woke" somehow, when it couldn't even put forth an interesting political theme beyond bare-bones kids show level "friendship and understanding is good!"
I think the reason people call Wuk ''woke'' is cause she written like a lot of ''woke'' char. By that I mean that those character are often written to be ''flawless'' you don't want them to have any controversial opinion so they end up just being a ''minority coded'' blank slate with barely any kind of personality.
A good exemple would be like they did to Wuk, Instead of giving her a backstory that explain why she against war, she just push for peace cause ''war is bad'' while she not wrong, it make for un-interesting story telling. Just look at HW, it a whole xpac that show a good reason of why war is bad, and why they go on cause both side refuse to let go the error of the past.
So people wrongfully call Wuk Lmao ''woke'' cause she written badly in the same way as ''woke'' char.
"FFXIV has such an accepting community."
"I don't like <thing> and am leaving."
"LMAO WHY DONT YOU LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON YOUR WAY OUT BIGOT."
You guys are hilarious.
